Stage Fright the play is based on an idea of mine and will run from February 2nd to 20th 2010 at the Canal Cafe Theatre in Little Venice.
A savagely funny satire on celebrity and theatre, Stage Fright charts the struggle for supremacy between three actors
appearing in a play together; old friends Peter and Charles, and Geraldine, the young and vulnerable actress they have befriended.
As opening night approaches, it becomes apparent that Geraldine is not who she appears to be, and the friends must fight to
salvage their pride, their identity and their reputations. Featuring the ultimate pin-up turned actress Abi Titmuss, with Sion Tudor-Owen
and Alex Barclay. Written by Lynn Howes and directed by Emma Taylor. Produced by Sonja Rein with Executive Producer Stefan Lubomirski de Vaux.

Thanks to our PR campaign which has already started, there is already an article in The Guardian which states "Stage Fright - Marina Hyde's tip for the theatre event of 2010"

Abi has been on BBC2 on January 3rd 2010 and talked about the play enthusiastically. Her interview starts 1hr 20 mins into the programme.

So I hope you can go and do tell ALL your friends about it!

During the year I have had a variety of interiors shoots for architects, interior designers and contractors, a sample of which are shown below:

This summer I spent a month in Mozambique, travelling mainly in the north of the this beautiful country, visiting Lake Niassa, the Quirimbas Archipelago,
Ibo Island, Ilha de Mozambique and Maputo, taking nearly five hundred pictures with my Leica M6, which edited down, appear in a book published and available for sale on Blurb.com
You can see a small selection of those images in a slideshow as a taster for what you will see in the book.

By Stefan Lubomirski ...

A shoot that has given me much pleasure was for a client who wanted to be photographed wearing the WAAF uniform, as worn by her grandmother during WWII
With hair and makeup done in 40's style, I took the photos on a roof terrace and matched the style and pose of the original photo that was the inspiration for the gift

and later merged in a Spitfire shot to set her in context

Several more of these pictures csan be seen in Gallery 1

A recent shoot was for for Fabulous Masterpieces of a selection of their paintings in some flats in Kensington

Fabulous Masterpieces specialises in genuine hand painted museum quality masterpieces of famous paintings. You can see more in a slideshow

I now have a Leica M8 which can use all the wonderful lenses from my M6 and I have been using it over the Christmas period in the streets of Notting Hill and out & about in Lisbon.

You can see a slideshow of the Lisbon pictures by clicking here

On 14th September I had the pleasure of shooting Marilyn Monroe, Sven-Goran Eriksson, Elvis (five times!), Diana Ross
and a host of other stars at the Trocadero in Piccadilly Circus! How did I manage this amazing feat?! - It was thanks to Sid Shaw of Elvisly Yours and
www.lookalikes-unite.com and its CEO, Jo Wiskin, who had organised a terrific group of Lookalikes for a party and to raise money for the “Lynda Jackson Macmillan Centre.
"The Lynda Jackson Macmillan Centre" is in memory of Maureen Shaw. The event "Maureen's Day 2" was organised by Sid Shaw of Elvisly Yours and husband of Maureen Shaw
who sadly died in March 2007 of Cancer. The event was supported by Friends, Elvis ETA', Lookalikes-Unite and their elite Members who are Professional Celebrity Lookalikes/Impersonators.

You can see some of what I and the general public saw and enjoyed in my slide show!

They need to raise £5,000.00 then LJMC will name a Counseling Room in memory of Maureen at the Cancer Centre, Mount Vernon Hospital in Northwood.
They are over half way there. All your donations will be gratefully received, especially from fans that knew Maureen or those fans around the world
that appreciate the efforts Elvisly Yours have made to keep alive the memory of Elvis. You may Donate to LJMC in Maureen's Memory.
The day was about Maureen and the aim was to raise as much money in her memory for Cancer.
The event is featured in the following weeks TimeOut magazine, using some of my photographs.

I was privileged to attend a SHOWstudio revue held at Three Rooms 15 Hanbury Street EC1.
The space, converted specially for a wide range of events by Sony to coincide with the launch of the PS3 is a fabulous colourful space
packed with hi-tec goodies, a bar, chill out zone and various places for performances, displays and generally hanging out.

Around 60 guys and gals from SHOWstudio and their guests, coming from a wide spectrum of the fashion and creative industries quaffed wine, chatted,
ate finger food, played with the PS3's and observed or took part in a range of tableaux, interactive Nu-Rave neon roulette, a novel version of striptease, dirty cabaret, glamour, sleaze, crooning
and DJ grooves. Guests including myself, were provided with Sony HDV Handycams and the videos were later edited into a movie, which can now be seen on SHOWstudio.com
I took my own camera as well and my pictures can be seen here.

I also took my Sony Sony HDR-HC3E HDV Handycam and produced on my iMAC a Quicktime movie ! which you will see, is rather cool for a first effort!!

On May 5th I attended another London Independent Photography workshop, this time on reportage photography given by
Brian Harris, who had asked us to photograph "progress" on the 2012 Olympics development.
I have walked round the Olympic Park South Walk which borders the development taking photos which I show in a slideshow.
As you will see, one can't really see any development going on, apart from the odd crane or bit of plant.
Other participants managed to take some pictures from the roofs of tall buildings, but saw little more.
However it was an interesting experience and I shall return at regular intervals and record what progress I can.

I am pleased to announce that Picture 7-4 "Three Ladies, Ponte de Lima, Portugal, 1977" has been a Merit Award Winner
in the prestigeous American photography magazine " Black & White Magazine" for more details click here.

I recently attended another "London Independent Photography" workshop hosted by the photographer Karen Knorr, who set us a brief beforehand to explore the issue of Urban Nature.
My response to it incorporating my idea of the Urban Beach took the form of a slideshow with text made up from pictures in my archive and work taken specially for it.
